Auri is a hand held device for individuals working in loud environments and alerts these users when a consultation with an audiologist may be necessary.
Auri is an early warning system for one of our most over looked senses – hearing. Just 5 minutes every fortnight is needed for each individual to keep an eye on their ear health with Auri.
Better yet, Auri is owned by the employer and used in the workplace. This means that there is no financial burden and no free time taken away from the user.
This project was to design a wireless controllable robot to exhaust fires (candles) accurately and navigate an obstacle course with precision.
The chosen design was based on tank tracks, and uses a piston in a barrel to force air through a a small opening – extinguishing the candle. Using a motor allowed for continuous fire and stepper motors provided torque and power for getting over those obstacles.
SharkNinja like to work fast. This type of work environment not only accelerated my core design skillset, but also the ability to take charge of projects, communicate with overseas teams and confirm or reject new ideas quickly.
