I’m a UX designer with a strength in user research and visualisation, looking for opportunities in experience design. I’m ambitious, collaborative, and thrive in team environments where ideas are shared, tested and refined to create thoughtful, human-centred solutions.

Linea

Linea — a connected home device for transnational families to preserve and share meaningful traditions. With the ability to send and receive photos, keepsakes, and thoughtful prompts across time zones, Linea turns everyday moments into shared experiences, helping families stay close even when far apart.

The Problem:

As families spread across countries, staying emotionally connected becomes harder. Traditions fade, messages feel fleeting, and meaningful moments get lost in the noise of everyday life. For the millions living apart from loved ones, keeping shared rituals alive is a growing challenge. So how do we preserve connection across distance and time?

How Linea helps:

Linea combines smart technology, thoughtful design and physical touchpoints to help families keep their traditions alive — no matter the distance. Have a look at the key components which make up the Linea service:

Smart, context aware suggestions

Linea’s context-aware assistant learns from your routines, location, and preferences to suggest the best time and way to take part in a tradition. Whether it’s a quiet weekend walk or a shared meal, Linea helps you schedule moments that fit naturally into your life.

Credit based rewards system

Every time you take part in a tradition, you earn credits. These can be used to unlock special features or send physical keepsakes. It’s a simple, encouraging way to keep families engaged, turning everyday traditions into something to look forward to and share.

Physical keepsakes

Linea makes your memories tangible. With just a few taps, you can use your credits to send beautifully packaged keepsakes, from photo prints to small tradition tokens, straight to your loved one’s doorstep. Some memories deserve to be held, not just seen.

Bringing ideas to life

We used a range of hands-on prototyping methods to explore ideas, test assumptions and refine how Linea fits into everyday family life

 Wireframing

I created and iterated low to high-fidelity wireframes in Figma to shape Linea’s core journeys. Each version was tested and refined to ensure that features like uploading photos or redeeming credits felt simple, intuitive and rewarding.

Bodystorming

I ran bodystorming sessions with peers to act out key moments, like using the device or sending a keepsake. This helped surface real-world reactions, emotional responses and small details that shaped a more intuitive and thoughtful experience.

Visualising the Product

I created CAD models and renders to explore the form, scale and aesthetics of the Linea device. This helped test how it would sit in the home and ensured the main physical touchpoint felt inviting, familiar and easy to interact with.

Behind the design

At Linea, our goal is to create meaningful, lasting impact, not just through meaningful experiences, but through thoughtful strategy. This section offers a closer look at the foundations behind Linea’s service and business design, showing how we ensure both societal value and sustainable delivery.
