Reflection of Her
My final major project, ‘Reflection of her’ is a body adornment collection that celebrates the female form and the ever-evolving relationship women have with their bodies. Challenging the male-gaze, it reimagines fashion as an enhancer, not a shield, and is inspired by the beach, a place where I feel most recharged and connected. Through a range of multimedia processes including fabric manipulation, knit, and embellishment, the collection invited women to reclaim how they are seen, by both themselves and the world.
