Behind the scenes.
These backgrounds were achieved by collaging a mixture of my own photography from a trip to Rome over the Easter holiday and photocopies of work I created in response to those images.
It was quite difficult to achieve the shapes necessary and required very intricate and tedious dissection of the photos. However, the end result proved worth the time and effort – I hope anybody who sees my work enjoys it but also sees the detail within it.
