Vestis Verto – The rental service made for students!

Identified Problem:
University students want to look great but often have tight budgets and many social occasions with outfit expectations. This leads them to rely on fast fashion for quick fixes, resulting in outfits worn only once before being forgotten in their wardrobes. With busy academic and social lives, students have little time to shop mindfully. Although many want to make ethical fashion choices, they face challenges such as high costs, limited options and outdated perceptions of second-hand fashion, which makes sustainable shopping inaccessible.
Our Solution:
Vestis Verto is reimagining second-hand shopping to be accessible, stylish and empowering, tailored specifically for student life. It offers a sustainable fashion solution where students can rent outfits for one-off events, combining the convenience of online browsing with the ability to try on items instore before committing to a rental. By creating vibrant, inclusive and community-powered fashion spaces – both digital and physical – Vestis Verto helps students shop with intention, without sacrificing self-expression, convenience or affordability. The mission is to lead a new wave of fashion that makes second-hand the first choice for students who care about style, values and the future.
