Shoes are traditionally mass-produced and sold in identical pairs, overlooking the millions of people with different-sized feet, those who wear prosthetics, or anyone experiencing foot-related differences. In this system, comfort, accessibility, and inclusivity have long taken a backseat to standardisation.
Solemate is a shoe brand that celebrates your unique needs, whether it’s a single shoe or a customised pair. It supports those with prosthetics, leg length differences, and non-standard sizing through flexible, made-to-order options. By only producing what’s needed, Solemate minimises waste, avoids excess inventory, and redefines what inclusive, sustainable footwear can look like.

Giffgaff’s name is derived from the Scottish phrase “mutual giving,” which is reflected in the Forecast Kindness campaign. With London’s famously unpredictable weather, 92% of Gen-Z and Millennials worried about climate change, and 46% concerned about the mental health of those around them, it’s clear we’re all looking for ways to make the world a better place.
Giffgaff responds to this by flooding the city with recycled umbrellas, sparking a chain of kindness and fostering a connected community, motivating them to pay it forward. With a smile on their faces, soon enough, people will be wondering, “Are you on giffgaff or something?”
