Terms of Type is a campaign built around a unique bitmap font that visually grows and decays when typed and deleted. This dynamic font slows down the typically instantaneous act of typing by mimicking the more deliberate process of handwriting.
By introducing these moments of pause, the font encourages the individual to reflect on their words before committing them to the digital world.

Traditionally, puzzles like sudokus and crosswords are associated with older generations looking to delay cognitive decline. However, the brain’s malleability (neuroplasticity) decreases with age, making late-life efforts like this less impactful in delaying conditions like Alzheimer’s and dementia.
The solution is Cranium Crack, a subscription-based puzzle book. It is a satirical but thoughtfully crafted puzzle book designed to introduce puzzles as part of a routine for young adults as a way of delaying the onset of cognitive conditions.

There is a disconnect between the general population of the UK and the population of those with allergies. Pendulum is a brand designing for both these groups of people.
For the ‘untrained’, Pendulum designed a poster campaign raising awareness and calling them to seek EpiPen training. For the ‘reactors’, Pendulum designed a set of collaterals that make talking about their allergies less overwhelming.
