“Jojo’s Home” is a children’s book that aims to provide familiarity and comfort in an unfamiliar setting for children ages 5-7 years old.
It’s a heartwarming story about Jojo, a young girl who moves from Hong Kong to London, where nothing feels quite like home. At first, nothing feels familiar, from the brick buildings to the new voices around her. But with the help of a friendly face, she learns to find little pieces of home in unexpected places.

Through themes of loneliness, nostalgia, friendship and hope, Jojo’s Home reminds us that home is not just where we live, but home is where the heart is. The book also acts as a conversational tool for parents, caregivers and schools to support them with newly migrated children.
The finished pages of this book were done primarily with soft pastels and colour pencils, finalised digitally on Procreate.

In A Flash is a mini-zine pack filled with short, digestible and instructional information about bouldering for beginners. Aimed for children ages 7-11 and their parents, the zine is a playful and accessible resource that reminds them about the safety precautions when bouldering. It’s designed to be engaging, memorable and easy to refer to before, during or after a session.

The final zine was printed using the school’s risograph printer and various papers from G.F Smith!

The zine is separated into three sections – equipment, safety and getting down – each one detailing what you should know when you start climbing.
