All of the works have been created from real life experiences and memories I have shared with my partner. The peace I now feel worshipping her and seeking comfort in love rather than a religion I was outcast from. Whilst my work is intensely personal, it is not insular. I hope to create a safe space for dialogue, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences with identity, faith, and societal expectations. My work is not about providing answers but about posing questions and fostering empathy.
Each paint stroke is a visual aid to my journey, a small act of reclamation, and a bold declaration that we are all worthy of being seen, understood, and celebrated. I hope people see that my love is not a sin.
