As an industrial designer, my goal is to develop user-centred, socially significant solutions. I want to use research-driven design to tackle practical issues in sustainability, accessibility, and healthcare – combining compassion and functionality to help marginalised and underprivileged groups.

Beepr.

Silent. Simple. Smart.

For males in low- and middle-income neighbourhoods, where hypertension frequently remains undiagnosed and untreated, Beepr is a discrete, easy-to-use blood pressure monitor. Without the need for an app or Wi-Fi, Beepr is small and easy to use. It links with a straightforward charging dock that gathers readings and automatically delivers SMS notifications to users, carers, or nearby medical professionals. Beepr’s powerful visual feedback and low-literacy-friendly hints promote frequent use without making users feel judged or complicated.

This is more than just a gadget; it’s a community-powered service that quietly turns everyday routines into life-saving treatment, returning control to people who need it most.
