My practice is rooted in the exploration of childhood memories growing up in Romania, where cultural identity, domestic rituals, and sensory experiences intertwine. Through mixed media and painting, I aim to reconnect with the textures, colours, and symbols that shaped my early years—translating fleeting moments into lasting visual narratives.
My installations often take on a homely, intimate setting, featuring hand-painted ceramic tiles and clay vases that echo traditional craftsmanship. These elements serve as vessels for memory, grounding the work in both personal history and shared cultural aesthetics. Layered surfaces, embedded objects, and tactile materials invite the viewer into a space that feels familiar yet dreamlike—an emotional archive of comfort, nostalgia, and storytelling.
By merging fine art with domestic craft, I celebrate the beauty in the everyday and the quiet power of heritage passed through generations.
