My practice engages with colour theory, investigating how light alters perception of colour. I explore the nuanced interactions between light and the primary colours, aiming to reveal how these relationships shift viewers’ interpretations through sensory and optical manipulation.

Present work

Throughout my practice, I have been deeply interested in how we perceive colour. Using handcrafted 3ft x 6ft light boxes that gradually shift through the RYB (red, yellow, blue) colour spectrum, my aim is to challenge conventional understandings of these primary hues and invite viewers to experience this scale in a new and captivating way.

During my time at Loughborough University, I’ve created work that has continuously pushed and challenged my understanding of material, space, and experience. Thank you for exploring my practice, which centres on the interplay of light and perception through colour driven installations, including large-scale illuminated light boxes.
